Here it is, a powerful software application that finally gives you the ability to not only measure the Lag you live with in your games, but also to understand where your lagrelated problems are coming from. Finally, the causes of your Lag will not be a mystery because LagMeter will tell you if it is your gaming PC, the network, or the gaming server that is giving you grief. Once the causes of Lag are better understood, the gamers, game developerOnce you download and install LagMeter, simply launch it and then go play your game for a few minutes. While you are playing your games, LagMeter will continue to run in the background and record lagrelated data. LagMeter sports several histogram charts that update every 60 seconds that shows how much lag you are experiencing, what your ping is, and how many Frames Per Second you have. Try it out, give us your feedback at www.endlagnow.org. You should note that the application requires the .NET 1.1 runtime libraries from Microsoft. If you have the latest Windows patches, then you are probably all set, but if not you may want to download these first. |
